As part of the April 4th Foundation’s annual commemorative activities a program on Youth Voting Rights was coordinated by the Center’s Democracy Project with the Bridges youth program. Participants learned of the importance of voting rights. They heard from speakers and viewed exhibits that stressed the importance of voting throughout history and showed them how to be active on voting rights issues in their future.
