The local action in Solidarity with marches and rallies all over the country drew over 10,000 people to the National Civil Rights Museum to support the rights of migrants. Speakers stood on the balcony where Dr. King was assassinated and spoke in support of human rights for all. This must have been the largest demonstration ever on the sight of the Lorraine motel and it was definitely the largest demonstration in recent history here in Memphis.
