On September 29, 2006 over 400 Memphians paid $2,100 a ticket to attend a fundraiser for Bob Corker headlined by President Bush. While they dined on fie foods and shook hands with the dictator in chief over 75 Peace and Justice activists gathered at the corner of Shady Grove and Yates to protest the destructive policies of this administration.
